Tips for getting started.....
INFORMATION PACKET
Included is my introduction letter-you may change the name/organization, any information or wording you like…or create your own.
I build a packet using a simple paper binder and have included the cover sheets for each section here. I simply attach a divider tab on the edge of the divider sheet for ease of those looking at packet. It makes a nice, professional looking, easy to navigate packet.
I have numbered and stated which section I use the information in the individual doc. title and the cover sheet file, when printed out, is how I put the packet together by section.
I do not always print out each position statement, but just the first page which lists the opposing organizations. Nor do I always print out
If entire packet is printed out it is a large packet and one that most officials will NOT look into unless they are really actively seeking info. What I will usually do is include one or two key pieces in each category and give a call back in a few days to see if there are any questions or requests for additional information from the officials.
You may have to do some adjusting for the pages to print out correctly on your printer.
